According to a poll from Reuters/Ipsos, French workers are the most likely to get their R&R, using 89 percent of their alloted vacation time on average. The poll surveyed 12,691 people in 24 countries and found that there are large discrepancies in vacation time between nations. Some, such as France, use nearly all of their vacation time. Other nations, like the United States, use barely half. Americans ranked fifth lowest, using just 57 percent of their alloted vacation time. But Americans simply illustrate the norm on their continent, as North America proved the worst of the seven continents at using vacation time, while Europe was the best. Besides France, Argentina (80 percent) and Hungary (78 percent) rounded out the top three.
