Lorain County/Elyria shooting suspect

Police in Elyria are looking for a man, wanted in connection with a shooting Saturday, on Hodge Court in Wilkes Villa.

Police consider 19 year old Curtis Mack, ‘armed and dangerous’.

27-year-old Aaron Jackson was shot in the leg…police say, there’s bad blood between Jackson and Mack.


Lorain County/Rollover crash investigation

A 17 year old boy faces charges in connection with police chase in Elyria that ended in a rollover crash.

Police say, the crash occurred Sunday night near Lake and Gateway, when they spotted a stolen car with a stolen license plate.


Lorain County/Oberlin councilwoman passes away

Former Oberlin City Councilwoman Sharon Soucy has died at the age of 76.

Soucy spent 12 years on council.


Erie County/Sandusky man arrested for domestic violence

A Sandusky man has been charged with assault and domestic violence for allegedly beating the mother of his child.

A woman told police that she was walking to her car on Perry Street when 37-year-old Demein Brown of Central Avenue started to assault her.

The woman said Brown was upset because he saw photos on social media of her and the person she’s dating.

Voter registration forms are available in various locations such as your BMV, city halls, county board of elections, libraries or online at www.myohiovote.com.

You have until 9:00 pm tonight.

So-called ‘early voting’ begins tomorrow.


Erie County/Candidates forum tonight in Huron

A candidates forum is planned for tonight in Huron.

Those running for the offices of Erie County Commissioner, Ohio House District 89, U.S. Senate and Governor have been invited.

It takes place tonight in the McCormick School Auditorium at 6:30 pm.


Ottawa County/Port Clinton holding candidates event

A “Candidates and Issues Forum” will be held in Port Clinton Thursday evening.

Local and state candidates are scheduled to appear beginning at 7:00 pm at the Elks Lodge on Buckeye Boulevard.


Erie County/Sandusky to plant nearly 300 trees

Close to 300 trees will be planted in Sandusky next year thanks to a $100,000 grant.

The city has received funds from the National Forest Service that will be used to place trees in various properties including Central Park, Dorn Community Park, East Park, Jaycee Park, West Park and Mills Creek Golf Course.
