Sandusky/Man sentenced to death asks for reconsideration of appeal

A 46-year-old man sentenced to death for the killing of a Sandusky mother and her two young children has asked an Ohio court to reassess his appeal.

This comes after the Ohio Supreme Court reaffirmed the conviction and death sentence earlier this month of Curtis Clinton for the rape and murder of Heather Jackson and her children in 2012.

Clinton is arguing that the court erred when it joined two separate cases together against him and included a past conviction as evidence.

Clinton has an execution date of September 15th, 2021.
