Taylor Swift Grants A Wish

Taylor Swift made a young girl’s dream come true when she visited her at a hospital in Omaha, Nebraska on Saturday. According to the Omaha World-Herald, the girl, 10-year-old Lauren Hacker, is a patient at Omaha’s Children’s Hospital & Medical Center and has been battling cancer. After the visit was lobbied for on social media, Swift’s representatives and the girl’s family arranged the meeting at the hospital. Lauren’s father, Phil Hacker, wrote on his blog about the visit. He said that Swift spent about an hour talking with the girl and that Hacker even played Taylor a song on the electronic piano keyboard she got for her birthday. Before Taylor left, she gave the young girl bag of goodies that included autographs, photographs and guitar picks. Swift will be Omaha again on Wednesday night when she kicks off the much anticipated North American leg of “The Red Tour.”
