In light of the fact that Kenny Chesney’s a Tennessee boy who played football for Gibbs High School in Corryton, it’s not a stretch for him to return to the school - especially with the football documentary he created, Boys of Fall. According to CMT.com, Chesney went back to his alma mater and surprised the Eagles football team there on Wednesday night. Kenny told the team in a locker room pep talk, “You all grew up just like us.” He continued with, “You drive the same roads we drove, you obviously played on the same football field we played on and walked through the same halls, so it’s really a special time for me to come here and play you guys this. About a game we all love.” Chesney then gave the players a preview of Boys of Fall, which will air on ESPN this Sunday at 2 PM, ET. Look for the feature lengthversion of the documentary to eventually come out on DVD.

Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus tweeted about the blast that the trio had in Las Vegas this week, filming the music video for their new single, “Why Wait.” Jay tweeted, “This video is gonna kill, I promise you.” The clip will feature appearances by actor David Arquette and comedian Ron White, not to mention showing off the Flatts in some pretty colorful tuxedos at a wedding chapel.
